This last weekend I went to see family in the central valley. My cousin Jeanie came to the bay area but managed to get back in time on Sunday to make her big announcement that she was 5 months (21 weeks) pregnant. Woohoo! How great is that?
Our family is just spouting babies everywhere! :)
Well, while I was down there I was basically cornered. My aunts and cousins held me down and made me tell them that A.J. and I are engaged and then FORCED me to tell them the additional news of being 13 weeks pregnant.
So, the cat's out of the bag. I'm totally pregnant!
Hopefully, in a month I can tell everyone what's the supposed sex of the baby, but if the Chinese lunar calendar is any indication, I'm having a girl. :D Let's wait until the ultrasound confirms that. ;)
Overall, my family members were so happy for me and supported me a lot. I know that my mom did not want me to tell anyone until I was ACTUALLY married, but why hide something so wonderful? It was funny that my dad was like, "YAY!" and my mom was like, "BOO!" and my brothers were like, "WOO-HOO!" When my cousin Jeanie and I told our grandmother she said, "Well, I figured as much. The food that Renée kept asking me to make was what I was craving when I was pregnant." Oh grandma... You're a SMART cookie, you are!
So, the things I will need to tackle in the next month or so:
- Maternity Clothes Shopping
That's about it. :P
So, the idea behind this photo shoot was that it was going to be for her senior portrait. Well, it turned out to be more than that, as typically, you don't think of lacy dresses in senior portraits. Either way... Here is what came of it.
These are my personal favorites of the set.
She ended up using the one with her laying on her front side.
And the following are just photos of me playing around with photoshop. The hair color was a request. And she ended up liking the eye color a lot!
There are times where I get to be a materialistic girl. During those times I like to fantasize about obtaining certain items. Those certain items on my list are as follows:
Tokidoki ♥'s Onitsuka
In Tokidoki's latest collaboration efforts, Simone Legno teams up with sport shoe maker Onitsuka famous for their Onitsuka Tiger line.
Tokidoki Watch
An original design which is fairly simple and not too busy, however, still cute.
What's the best April Fools' Day prank you've ever had pulled on you?

I had put a stack of cards into a jewelry box and gave it to my aunt and said "this is for you!" She thought it was going to be a necklace or whatever and when she opened it to see that it was a box of cards, she was so disappointed!
I was about 8-years-old.
Right this moment, I'm licking some hand-packed wild n' reckless ice cream from Baskin Robbins. It was a seasonal flavor but now it's a regional flavor. I guess I bought enough for them to feature it in this area! ^_^
Now that Flickr is back online, I can share with you my new figurine collection. I've collected a lot of figurines over the years, some still in the box, some with smashed boxes, many of them on my desk, shelves, tv area, closets, and so forth. I visited Japantown here in San Francisco, and bought my first Pinky:St doll. It's the Ayanami Rei one with two outfits. Anyhow, I recently received a couple more early this week. Here are some pictures.
Oh my! I've been absent from Vox for quite sometime. Don't worry... I haven't really updated any of my web items (twitter, tumblr, lj, etc.) except for maybe Flickr, and even then, there are still some noticeable gaps.
2007 was the year that I turned 21. Some say that the years leading up to 21 are the best, while others say once you're 21 the fun's just beginning. I, on the other hand, have made my entire life as boring/exciting as it's ever going to be, and that bore/excitement is sitting at home.
The bests and worsts of 2007 were fairly tamed, and when I look back at them, I wish they were more memorable. I did not go to a bar. I did not go to a club. I didn't even go to a 21+ concert. I maybe had a total of 2 alcoholic drinks. I would say that I'm fairly tame.
I, however, maintained to stay at a job for near two years (only leaving due to layoffs) which is the longest duration as of yet. I started up on my Masters degree again. I'm slowly getting myself out of debt. I'm slowly raising my credit score.
For 2008, I want to grow more.
I want to apply for a passport. I want to travel to Asia or Europe. I want to travel to New York. I want to obtain my Masters degree. I want to move into a bigger place. I want to get Tranquility (Toyota Matrix) back or get my Mini Cooper S. I want to find my true career.
Thus far, I've already pulled my wisdom teeth (now, I'm dumb--hyuck~!). Now I just need to find someone who will recommend Invisalign to me.
I want to grow.
I thought I'd share with you all the best performance of m-flo's Cosmicolor 2007 tour featuring Alex from Clazziquai.
Absolutely breath taking. You'll enjoy listening to Alex sing, but you'll stay for Taku's beats!
I haven't made a post in a long time, so I felt that updating with a recent picture I took while I was in Oakland should calm thy satiable appetites.
